Leeza

Leeza is an approximately 3 year old black & white girl. She is spayed, current on shots , vet checked and will be put on heartworm preventative.

Rescue got her from a vet. She had been brought in for the surgical removal of one eye and abandoned by her owner who chose not to pay the bill.

Leeza's body coat had been shaved before Rescue got her, but her head was still in need of grooming. We trimmed it up and patterned it, and she behaved fine.

She seems like a really sweet dog. She will potty outside when given the opportunity. Leeza seems to be okay around other dogs and seems to enjoy the company of people.

She is not yet fully accustomed to maneuvering with only one eye, but her depth perception is improving as time passes. She should probably go to an adult home because she might be startled if a child ran up to her blind side (but she has not shown any tendency toward inappropriate behavior).
