Kaye
is a 6 to 8 month old spayed buff girl. She is vet checked, current on shots and
on heartworm preventative.
A veterinary student collected her from a municipal shelter for her spay project. She spayed her but was unable to keep her as a pet. When she called the shelter she was told "we hold dogs for three days." Rather than risk having the dog face a possible death sentence by returning her to the shelter she came from, she called Rescue.
Kaye's coat is not excessive. She does have facial hair which will need regular clipping. We gave her her first haircut ever. It was kind of a "catch me if you can" grooming job, but we got the job done.
She is a live wire. She loves to run and play and then come back for kisses. Kaye would be happiest as the only pet in a household.
She is working on her housebreaking.
