and Espresso had been surrendered to a shelter by a breeder because they were heartworm
positive and the breeder didn't want to bother treating them. They remained in foster
care for many months while undergoing treatment but now they are clear and ready
to go. Demitasse doesn't have a lot of hair - and what there is has a nice texture. If she had ever had a haircut before, it was a long time ago. And she wasn't particularly thrilled with the prospect of having clippers run over her face. But we persisted and got the job done.
She is a sweet, energetic little girl. She loves to play with her toys.
Because of her confinement during the heartworm treatment, her housebreaking has delayed. She will need some help in this department.
