Dallas and Dakota

Dallas

Dakota

Dakota and Dallas are 5 and 6 year old spayed buff and black girls. They are current on shots, heartworm negative and vet checked.

They were surrendered to Rescue by a family who developed allergies to them.

Their bodies had been clipped short before they came into Rescue. Their heads were messy - and we cleaned them up. Dakota didn't especially want her head trimmed -and tried to become invisible - but when you're on a grooming table the hidey-holes are very limited. When there was no other option, she stood still and let us do the job.

Dallas has gunky ears but seems to be responding well to antibiotics and a natural diet. A new owner would be well advised to keep her on California Natural food.

Since they were surrendered together and obviously have worked out the dynamics between them, we would like to place them together if possible.

Dallas is the more outgoing - checking out new places, saying "hi" to people. She's first in the water bowl and takes her own sweet time while Dakota waits patiently. Dakota is slower to socialize, but when she feels comfortable, she is the one more likely to lie by your side and watch Dallas go about her business.

The previous owner reports that they are housebroken and are fine around children.
