Codie is
a 4 year old brown neutered male. He is current on shots, vet checked and on heartworm
preventative.
He had been surrendered to Rescue by an individual who could not get a skin condition under control. Rescue took another approach and tried to alleviate the problem by changing his diet and testing his thyroid function. Before and after pictures are in the Wall of Shame.
Now that hair has grown back, Codie has a lot of it. It is still fairly fluffy and will need frequent clippings. He doesn't mind being groomed, but other things he could be doing catch his attention and he is a moving target.
Codie is also feeling much better now that his skin is no longer itching, and he has turned into a live wire. He is a toy freak. He collects anything he can find and then goes out to look for more.
He is housebroken and good in his crate. When he gets outdoors he has to go and run and play - and then play some more.
When he stands still long enough, he is happy to give you kisses, and he is friendly around strangers. He likes other dogs but didn't have time to visit with the cat.
