Codi

Codi is a 6 year old black & white boy. He is neutered, current on shots, vet checked and heartworm negative.

He was one of more than two dozen dogs given to a rescue representative when a breeder got sick and her husband didn't want to bother with the dogs. The dogs were shared by Rescue groups up and down the East Coast.

Codi had been cut down when he got into Rescue - reportedly the mats and parasites had been pretty disgusting. His hair has started to grow back and it appears as though he will have a lot of coat. He was absolutely cooperative for both his bath and his haircut.

This dog LOVES people. If you get down on ground level, you stand a good chance of having him knock you over so he can wash your face. (Taking pictures was quite a challenge...)

We're a little confused about Codi. If you put him on a grooming table and stack him as if he were in a show ring, he knows exactly what to do. But he would rather circle your feet than pull out on the lead - so we don't know if he was ever shown. But he is certainly near show quality.

After being in a kennel for much of his life, Codi is learning about houses. He tries to keep his crate clean but he needs some help in the housebreaking department.
