GIS Data Conversion
Digitized water and sewer infrastructure GIS data layers from approved engineering drawings using ArcGIS Desktop 9.1. Scanned utility drawing sheets were georeferenced in ArcGIS Desktop 9.1 and water and sewer infrastructure were digitized as feature classes into a personal Geodatabase. Developed custom tools to help in the data conversion using ArcObjects and VBA. These tools helped improve the data conversion process efficiency.

GIS Analysis & GPS Surveys
Used spatial analyses to auto populate type attribute values of water valves. Helped locate utility assets such as Hydrants, Water Valves, Water Meters and Sewer Manholes using Trimble 5800 GPS receiver and TSC2 data collectors. Maintained the GPS equipment (charging, etc.), so they were ready for use everyday.

Maps/Exhibits
Generated maps requested by Department staff using ArcGIS Desktop. Maps adhered to Department Cartography standards. Also utilized PDF-Tools and Excel to help automate generation of links to other files from a PDF index map.

Interlocal and Refunding Agreements Project
