Families are the heart and soul of any culture.
I will be adding links to to may page on this subject as I find them
and check them out.
Family Unity and Family Values are two of the many keys to raising children
I am very proud of my children. They have grown up to be young people
anyone would be proud of.
Our daughter, Michelle is married to a Baptist Minister, has 4 beautiful
children, is a nurse, and has a wonderful singing voice. She was selected
as one of two young singers from Tennessee to sing with People-to-People
tour to the far east when she was 16. What an experience that was for her.
Our oldest son, Michael is also married and has 2 wonderful children.
I think he is the best father any mother could ask for. Michael also sings
in his church choir.
Our youngest son is also married and has 2 children that I do not get
to see enough. Paul is in the U.S. Marine
Corps. He is a military air traffic controller in Yuma, AZ.
He is on his second four year tour.
I recently retired and now spend my weekdays taking care or our five
Basset Hounds
and an occasional rescued basset.
Other Thinks I Like to Do
Traveling
I like traveling, especially to visit my grand children. We went to
Disney World with our daughter's family. She has 4 of my 8 grandchildren.
We had a great time and each adult had only one child to look after.
In 1994 we visited the west and saw the Grand Canyon, the Painted Desert,
Mesa Verde, Mt. Zion National Park, Hover Dam, Crater National Park, the
Petrified Forest, and Sedona, AZ. In 1995 went on a New England fall
foliage trip and visited MA, VT, ME, and NH. Our last trip was to
Switzerland, Austria, and Germany. We thoroughly enjoyed our first
to Europe.

This was Tootsies last show. Due to health problems we had to have her spayed which ended
her show career. But she will be in the Veterans Showing at the 1999 Basset Hound Nationals
in St. Louis.
Laughter is good for you.
It helps you to deal with this crazy mixed up world.
