Recorded Jan 2nd AD 1869 at 12 Noon--------- This Indenture made the 19th day of November AD 1868 between Sophia Wilson of St. Clair County Michigan Special guardian of Caroline Wilson Fredrick Wilson and Mary Wilson infants under the age of twenty one years of the first part and Edwin F. Solis of St. Clair County Michigan of the second part. Whereas a petition was heretofore presented to the Circuit Court for the County of St. Clair in Chancery by the said Caroline Wilson, Fredrick Wilson and Mary Wilson who are infants under the age of twenty one years by the said Sophia Wilson their special guardian praying for a ___ of the right title and interest of the said infants in the real estate therein mentioned and whereas such proceedings were afterwards had in the said Court upon the said petition that by and order of said Court made on the 14th day of November AD 1868 the said Sophia Wilson was appointed the special guardian of the said infants for the purpose of the said application upon her giving the security therein required and whereas such security duly approved and acknowledged was subsequently filed by the said guardian in the proper manner office, and whereas by another order of the said Court made on the 14th day of November AD 1868 the said Sophia Wilson was authorized and empowered to contract for the sale and conveyance of the right, title and interest of the said infants in such real estate at a price not up than that specified in the Circuit Court Commissioners report referred to in said order and upon the terms and conditions therein sanctioned and whereas in pursuance of the last mentioned order the said special guardian afterwards made her report dated the 19th day of November AD 1868 to the said Court stating that she had entered into an agreement subject to the approbation of said Court with John Moencka(?) of St. Clair County Michigan and Edwin F. Solis of St. Clair County Michigan and for the sale of all the right, title, and interest of the said infants in and to the said real estate upon the terms and conditions therein mentioned Whereas by an other order of the said Court made on the 19th day of November AD 1868 it was ordered that the said report of such special guardian and an agreement therein sanctioned be and the same were thereby ratified and confirmed and whereas it was further ordered by the said Court in and by the said last mentioned order that the said special guardian should execute, acknowledge and deliver to the said John Moencka(?) and Edwin F. Solis and good and sufficient conveyances of all the estate, right, title and interest of the said infants in and to the said premises upon their complying with the terms and conditions upon which by the said agreement such deed was to be delivered and Whereas the said John Moencka(?) and Edwin F. Solis the purchasers aforesaid have complied with the terms and conditions of the said agreement now therefore the indenture witnesseth that the said granty of the first part special guardian as aforesaid by virtue of the power and authority confirmed upon her by the several orders above mentioned and in pursuance of the estate in such case made and provided for and in consideration of the sum of seventy five dollars to her in hand paid at or before the indenting and delivering of these presents by the said party of the second part the receipt whereof is hereby ____sed and acknowledged hath granted bargained sold, ________, released and conveyed and by these present doth grant bargain, sell, _______, release and convey unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever all the right, title, and interest of the said infants Caroline Wilson, Frederic Wilson and Mary Wilson of in and to all that certain piece or parcel of land situate lying and being in the County of S. Clair and State of Michigan known and described as follow to wit --------------------
The south half of the North East quarter (1/4) of the North East quarter (1/4) of section number thirty five (35) in town five (5) North Range fifteen (15) East containing twenty acres of land to have and to hold the said premises and every part and parcel thereof with the appurtenances to the said Edwin F. Solis his heirs and assigns to his and their only proper use benefit and behoof forever
In witness whereof the said Sophia Wilson Special guardian as aforesaid of the said Caroline Wilson Frederick Wilson and Mary Wilson infants under the age of twenty one years hath hereunto set her hand and seal this 19th day of November AD 1868 ---------------------
