                   In the Name of God Amen
          This twenty Seventh day of August AD 1760
I Nathaniel Rust of Coventry in ye County of Windham &
Colony of Connecticutt in New England tho advanced in age
yet Sound in body & of perfect mid and memory thanks be
to god there for  Recollecting ye mortality of man Knowing
that it is apointed unto all men once to die ---
I do make & ordain this my last will and Testament
That is to Say princepaly and first of all I give & Commend
[paper torn] to god who gave it hoping through ye merits of ___ __
[paper torn] Jesus Christ to have ye free pardon of all my Sins & to in heart Eternal
Life.       And my Body I Commit to ye grave to be decently
Caried at ye descretion of my Executors here after named nothing
doubting but at ye general resurection ye Same shall be raised
again by ye mighty power of god-           and as to my worldly
Estate which god has been pleased to bless me with I do dispose of
in ye following maner. - that is to say --
I Will that all those debts and duties that I owe in right of Conscience
to any maner of person of persons whatsoever be fully Contented and
paid in Convenient time  after my decease by my Executors
here after named - I give and bequeath unto Mary Rust
my well beloved Wife after my decease that room in my house g___
& well in with suitable provision as right She Stays there and also
Suitable apparel for mourning not that I assign her ye Room for life
but so long as She remains my Widow.---------
Not that what I have before this given to any of my Sons & 
Daughters Should be returned as part of there portion And what
I have given to Simeon Rust & Elisabeth Warner & Margerat
Hunt as part of their fathers portion.    Item.  I give to ye
Sons and grandsons of my Well beloved Son Nathaniel Rust
deceased    To Simeon Rust To Mathias Rust To Melatiah Rust
To Jehiel Rust To Joseph Rust and To Nathaniel Rust after
my decease to be paid to Each of them by my Executors
Two pounds Lawfull money but if any of my above mentioned
grand Children die before they arrive to ye age of twenty one years
old that then ye two pounds Lawfull money Shall be Equally divided
amongst my Son Nathaniel Rust Children that Survive.-
    I Will that my Executors Shall pay to ye daughters of Nathll
Rust    To Elisabeth Warner & Abiel Badcock to each
twenty Shillings Lawfull money and I Will that my Executors
Shall also pay to Rebekah Kingsbury Twenty Shillings Lawfull money-
Item    I give to my son Samuel Rust one half of my home
lot after his Mother Mary Rust decease he complying with
What I have assigned her    also I give to him Six Acres of _____
division laid out in ye Cedar Swamp

laid out uppon Wm Steads Right & also my Right in ye ram
pasture and undivided Land in Coventry to him and his heirs
forever ye above mentioned Lands I give in Consideration of
his having paid my Daughter Lydia Seventy five pounds
old _____.    and ye Reason why I give my Son Samll no more
in this my last Will or is because I have given his portion in part
by deed before    I give To ye Children of my beloved Son Noah Rust
Deceased besides what I have given him by deed or other Estate
I give to his Sons To Noah Rust To Amaziah Rust
To Elijah Rust To Samuel Rust To Each of them Eight pounds
Lawfull money to be paid by my Executors after my decease but if
either of ye above children die before they Come of age To receive ye money
according to Law that then ye Eight pounds Shall be Equally divided
amongst Noah’s Children that Survive.-  Also I give to ye Daughters
of my son Noah To Tillah Tailor & Keziah Holt  to Each of them
thirty Shillings Lawfull money they Complying with what is in ye Close
of this Instrument.    Item - I give to ye Sons of my beloved Son
Daniel Rust Deceased To Daniel Rust Two parts of ye Land by ye Pond
lying between ye Land of Samll Rust and Jehiel Rose and frontin
uppon ye highway    Also To Lemuel Rust one part of Sd Land which
Land Shall be after my decease To Sd Daniel & Lemuel Rust but if
Sd Lemuel die before arrive To ye age of twenty one years of age
then his part of Sd Land Shall be Equally divided between Daniel
Rust’s children by his first Wife.    Item  I give to Gershom &
Zebulon Rust a certain parcel of Land in Coventry laid out uppon
Wm Steads Right butting uppon Tolland Road of ten acres
and Seven Acres & a half butting uppon Sd road lying uppon
ye N.W. of a twenty acre Division and also a ten acre lying
uppon ye Country road and also about one acre I bought of
Capt Porter and Robert Turner Which I give to them and their
heirs if they arrive to ye age of twenty one years if not, then to be
Equally divided between Daniel Rust’s Children also I give
To Sd Daniel Rust Deceased youngest Son Nathaniel Wilson
twenty Shillings Lawfull money which Tender to be paid to him
Two parts thereof by Daniel Rust ye other part by Lemuell
Rust.  Also I give to his two Daughters Mercy & Anne Rust
three Pounds to Each Lawfull money    but in case they decease before
they arive to Eighteen years of age then to be Equally divided
between ye Children of Daniel Rust deceased    Item - I give
to my well beloved daughter Experience Gurley fourteen Pounds Lawfull
money including what I have already given her  To be paid by my
Executors    Item  I give to my beloved Daughter Mary Herrick
With what I have formerly given her fourteen Pounds Lawfull money
Item    I give to ye Children of my well beloved Daughter Elizabeth
Herrick Deceased  To Samuel Herrick twenty Shillings Lawfull money
also To Margaret Herrick thirty Shillings Lawfull money to them & their
heirs to be paid by my Executors    Item I give to my beloved
Daughter Lydia Herrick With what I have formerly given her
Ye Sum of  L14 Lawfull money to her & her heirs --
and further more I do here by nominate & apoint Samuell Rust
and Ezekiel Herrick my Executors of this my last will &

Witnesses to ye foregoing & within written will & made Solemn
oath that he see Mr. Nathaniel Rust Late of Sd Coventry Deceased
the Testator of Sd will Sign Seal & heard him at ye same time Publi
sh Pronounce & Declare the same to be his Last will & testement in
the presence of Stephen Palmer & Jehiel Rose & himself & that he did
then Set his hand as an Evidence to Sd will in ye Presence of Sd
Testator & in ye Presence of Sd Palmer & Rose & that he saw them
Set their names as witnesses to Sd will in ye Presence of Sd Testator
& of one another    & at Sd time he judged him to be of sound & deposing
mind & memory according to ye Best of his Desarning----
Sworn Before me Joseph Strong Jr Justice of ye Peace
At time & Place above said personally appeared mister Stephen Palmer
& Jehiel Rose above named Witnesses to ye aforegoing & within written
Will & made Solemn oath that they see Mr. Nathaniel Rust
Late of Sd Coventry Deceased  Sd Testator of Sd will Sign & Seal
that they understood it to be his Last will & testement & that
they saw each other & Mr. Richard Davenport all Subscribed their
Names as witnesses to Sd will in ye Presence of Sd testator
and at ye same time they judged that ye Sd testator was
of Right mind & memory according to ye best of their

Whereas Nathll Rust late of Coventry Decease Divised in his
last will & Testament one piece of Land lying in Coventry Containing
Twenty & Eight Acres unto Gersham Rust
& Zebulon Rust Children of Daniel Rust late of Coventry Deceased
& grandChildren to ye Sd Nathll Rust to be Equally Divided between
them in sase they arrived to ye age of twenty one years otherwise to
be Distributed Equally among ye other Children The Sd Zebulon Rust
Dying before he arrived to ye age of twenty one years ye Sd Gersham
Rust & those of ye heirs viz Daniel Rust Lemuel Rust

ye honourable Court of Probate would give order for ye
