The Petition of John Hinton of the Township of Trafalgar yeoman
Humbly Sheweth, That your Petitioner was born in Pembrokeshire, Great Britain, is upwards of 23 years of age_ has resided in this Province about years & has taken the Oath of Allegiance. That he is desirous of obtaining a Lease of the reserved Lot No.23 in the 3rd Concession South of Dundas Street in the Township of Trafalgar and humbly offers his Father James Hinton of the same Township yeoman as a Surety for the due payment of the rent. __ That ____ 56a his petition be favorably considered he undertakes to pay the required advance of rent immediately after the order in Council in his favor_ Wherefore he humbly prays that Your Execellency would be pleased to grant him a Lease of the said Lot in such terms as to Your Excellency may _______eet.
