#38 To His Excellency Frances Gore, Esquire Lieutenant Governor of the Province of Upper Canada
In Council The Petition of Thomas Hinton of the Township of Trafalgar yeoman___
Humbly Sheweth_ That your Petitioner is desirous to obtain a Lease of the reserved Lot Number Twenty Eight within the Third Concession and the Broken Lot Number Twenty Eight within the Fourth Concession in the Township of Trafalgar And begs leave to offer Jabez Elleson of the Said Township of Trafalgar yeoman as a Security Note joined in a bond with your Petitioner to Secure the payment of the rents according to the Terms of Lease_ Wherefore your Petitioner prays that your Excellency would be pleased to grant him a Lease of the Said Lots under #38a the conditions expressed within Notice from The Lieutenant Governor's Office dated 16th October 1802. And as is duty bound your Petitioner Shall ever(y) pray
