To all Christion people To Whome these presents may com   Know ye that I Georg Hockins of Coventry In ye County of Windham & Colony of Conectticut in Newengland for & in Consideration of ye Parantall Love & efection that I have to my son George Hockins Juner of ye same Town County & Conlony afore sd for his Portion & due Theirfore by these presents given granted alienated ensealed & confirmed unto him my Son George Hockings & to his heirs & asigns for ever on Devition of Land Lying Within ye Township of Coventry being in Quantety One Hundred acres Laid out to ye heirs of Henery Howard Late of Wathersfeild Deceased and to ye Homlott Number 48 sd Hundred acres is Bounded as foloeth (viz) South on ye Country Road that Leads from Cap Bissels to Coventry and east on a Highway and North on a Hundred acres Layd out to Calab Handley and West on a Nother Teare of Divitions or however other ways it may be found to be bounded and Lyeth in Length east & west Eaight School Rods and one Hundred Rods in Weadth north and South To Have and to Hold Sd Hundred acres of Land as a bove butted & bounded with all ye Privilidges & apurtenances their of to him my Son George Hockins his heirs & asigns for ever and that ye sd George Hockins his heirs from time to time and at all times for ever hear after Lawfully Peaceablely hold use poses & injoy all of above granted Hundred acres of Land as a perfect estate of Inharetance in fee simple in confermation hearof I ye sd George Hockins Sener have Set two my hand and fixed my Seall this 22 Day of December 1729
