RDT is a non-profit, deficit-free, 501(c)3 organization.  Contributions go toward the expenses of providing performing opportunities for our company members.  Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

Guild Member
RDT's success would not be possible without the willingness of parents and friends of the ballet to take up the cause, roll up their sleeves, and set to work.  From the construction and organization of the costumes you see on the stage, to the selling of tickets, the design of the letterhead, the computer system, office supplies and support, decoration of the lobby at performances, public relations, fund raising, ad selling, backstage support, and on-and-on -- every facet of the organization has been supported by the creativity, expertise, and manpower of an incredible army of volunteers.  And so, when the curtain opens, sit back, immerse yourself in the magic of dance: see beyond the dancers, the lights, and the costumes, to the dedication and hardwork of our dedicated, hardworking volunteers and Guild Members who make it all happen. You or your organization may purchase ad space which appears in our programs for our Fall program (December holiday season) and "Spring Repertoire" (May).  Contact the office for more information.

Dancer
Auditions are held annually. Students thirteen and older may audition for membership.  RDT prepares and presents two performances each year with additional performance at the Southeastern Regional Ballet Association (SERBA), the North Carolina School of the Arts Dance Festival, as well as lecture demonstrations in the area.  RDT is an Honor Company in SERBA.
