Tangi is a wonderful girl that wants a home to call her own and a family to love. She is very affectionate. Tangi is good with other dogs, don't know how she is with cats. Tangi is currently going through heartworm treatment. She is doing just fine and will be ready for adoption after completion of her treatment, later in the month of July. Joey is a SPECIAL fellow. He is 15 yrs old. Joey was dropped off at a shelter by a puppy mill and would have died if the shelter personnel hadn't taken a "shine to him". Joey needs a SPECIAL home to care for him. He has some vision problems and a touch of arthritis. Joey did test positive for heartworms. Because of his senior status we will not treat him. He is on monthly prevention to help keep the heartworms under control. We are working on house training. Joey is a very special dog and needs someone to love him. He is learning to gain trust in people. He needs a home with no active dogs and no children. He is a very lovable little guy. He weighs only about 15 pounds! Bouree' (BooRay)is ready to be adopted to a forever home. He is a young boy - about 2 1/2 years old . Bouree' (BooRay)is named after a Cajun card game. We felt that would be a good choice since he came from a Cajun town - down the Mississippi River. Bouree' is about 17 pounds, still needs a little extra meat on his bones though. He is a sweet little boy. He loves to play and rough house with the other dogs. He needs a yard with a fence so that he can run and play.Bouree' is not suited to living in an apartment.
