"Underway under sail power USS Constitution, the world's oldest
commissioned warship afloat, is underway in Massachusetts Bay, Mass.
Commissioned on Oct. 21, 1797, Constitution set sail unassisted for the
first time in 116 years. She celebrates her 200th birthday on Oct. 21 of
this year [1997] after completing a 40 month overhaul. U.S. Navy Photo by
