The purpose of these pages is to show what can be accomplished with varying amounts of equipment and a little practice. Although this represents my personal exploration into the subject, the most valuable astrophotography resource to me has been from Covington's Astrophotography for the Amateur.
Once you know the basics, you can come up with almost an endless variety of tools to get images on film. Here you will find some of the means I have used, some quite normal, some perhaps unique. Hopefully you will get some ideas you can use. Just remember that even when everything doesn't come out perfect, the results can be quite gratifying.
