This photo doesn't do this little guy, resident at the falls, justice. Otherwise Emerald green he flashes bright orange on his back in flight. They're inquisitive and drawn to people. that is the food the people represent. I was disappointed to see several New Zealanders giving them chips and cookies as we're urged not to feed them and turn them into scavengers. Given a moment they can rip a pack open with their beaks or rip shoes to shreds in the search for food. Perhaps they do it for the fun?
