Just when you thinks it's safe to walk the trail you turn a corner and smack there's another fun bridge to cross :-)

The trail leads to the right where it snakes across the cliff face until reaching the bridge. The bridges have load limits posted, for instance "No More Than 12 Persons" but groups not familiar with western numbers often overload the bridges.

Later, on the Milford Track, our guides again cautioned us not to overload the bridges that dot the trail. For the Aussie's (Australians) they had additional information. "if the sign says no more than 8 persons, you don't have to wait for exactly 8 before crossing." There's a lot of, mostly, good natured banter between the Kiwi's (New Zealanders) and Aussie's.
