ON THE TASMAN SEA - LUNCH AT HOKITIKA

Wind was brisk at the shore as we lunch before exploring Hokitika. Our guide Claire, chief cook, fed us while we were on the road. A typical lunch featured several varieties of cold cuts or prepared sandwiches, salads, fruits, terrific, and large, chocolate chip and ginger snap cookies. I gave in to her endless supply of chocolate bars deciding to enjoy myself and suffer the consequences later. On the go all the time I put away large quantities of food and still returned home without gaining an ounce or a zit :-)
