Red Deer

Sheep ranchers faced with declining profits have domesticated Red Deer to restore their income. Deer were introduced in the 1800's and bred prolifically presenting the same problems White Tail's do in the Northeast U.S. Antlers, supposedly an aphrodisiac, are popular in Asia with venison destined for Europe. Surprisingly we did not see venison on menus. If you want to eat deer order "Cervena."
