Correct the following typos in the “Paint” field:

Plan 2410 LYNCHBURG, change “C&O;” to C&O Std.;”

Plan 2410A MAUPIN, change “Pill. Std.” to “Pull. Std.”

Plan 2585D MONCKTON, change “Pull Std.” to “Pull. Std.”

Plan 3585 LAKE WEIR, change “Pull Std.” to “Pull. Std.”

Plan 2410B HORSHAM, change “Pull. Std” to “Pull. Std.”

Plan 2410D UNDERCLIFF, change “Pull. Std,” to “Pull. Std.”

Plan 3410 EAST CHARLEROI, change “Pull. Std,” to “Pull. Std.”

Plan 2410D AULANDER, replace the comma following “Pull. Std.” with a semicolon

Plan number for DINNEBITO is incorrect. Change to “4065”.

Plan 3958A ALPINE CLOVER, change the “Sheathing” field to “Steel Plates EL”.

Plan 2410B TC 2369 (formerly BLANDIN), change the Service Date to 6/9/1942.

Plan 2410 TC 1712 (formerly STILLWELL), change the Service Date to 2/17/1941.

Plan 2411A LA FOURCHE, change the “Type” field to “S”.

Plan 3410A JOHN JAY, change the “Trucks” field to “242A; 2410 (3/5/26); 2410A (3/30/34)” and change the “Brakes” field to “UC 1x18”.

Plan 3410A PEYTON RANDOLPH, change the “Trucks” field to “242A; 2410 (3/20/26); 2410A (5/21/34)” and change the “Brakes” field to “UC 1x18”.

Plan 4071A ALLEGHENY COUNTY, change the “Disposition or Sale Date” field entry from “12/31/1948” to “12/31/1945”.

Plan 4046 BUTLER UNIVERSITY, in the “Paint” filed, add “”CED5156 (nd);” between “Pull. Std. (9/25/40);” and “CED5068C (2/3/54)”.

Plan 3988 CATSKILL VALLEY, enter the following in the “Additional Disposition Information” field: “Leased to NYC 7/8/39 and renumbered NYC 2599. AC system to be RR maintenance" (A/C ledger)

Plan 3988A TIOGA VALLEY (later VERMONT), delete the date in the “WFL Date” field. [The car was transferred to the NYC, not leased.]

Plan 3410 ST. LAWRENCE, correct change date in “Truck” field from “4/24/48” to “4/24/28”.

Plan 3988 VERMILLION VALLEY, correct change date in “Plan” field from “27/3/38)” to “(2/3/38)”.

Plan 2585A MILTONVALE and Plan 3996 SATURN, in “Plan” fields add missing leading parentheses on one change date for each car.

Plan 2410F SHEOMET, correct typo in “Sheathing” field , now reads “plaets”, should be “plates”.

Correct Service Date year typos for Plan 2136C COMMANDANT and Plan 3416A QUAKER VALLEY from 2009 and 2027 to 1909 and 1927, and Plan 2410 FORQUER from 3.4.1913 to 3/4 /1913.

Plan 3410G KNICKERBOCKER, in AC field change BTR date from 6/3/53 to 11/23/49.

All cars with York air conditioning, change AC entries reading “York” to York CT” for all cars air conditioned in 1933 and earlier, and to ”York TUC” for cars air conditioned in 1934 and later. (CT = Cooling tower; TUC = Twin Underbody Condensers.)

Plan 3951I EAGLE PEAK, move the text “To Hospital Ward Car” from the “Notes” field into the “Additional Disposition Information” field.

Plan 3959 CENTRAL HOUSE, move the text “To Hospital Ward Car” from the “Notes” field into the “Additional Disposition Information” field.

Plan 2951E MAPLE SHADE: There are two identical records for this car. Delete one of them.

Plan 4007 WALL STREET, Field “Service Date”, now reads “12/20/390”. Change to “12/20/30”. (Should then appear as 20-Dec-30.)

August 10, 2007, Update 6: Record 4750 for DRAPER/DALEBORO needs to be split; DALEBORO was rebuilt from DRAPER – it was not just a renaming.

1. Insert a new record below the one for DRAPER/DALEBORO (Record 4750).

2. Change Fields in the existing DRAPER/DALEBORO record as follows: Name = Draper; Plan = 2412F; Brakes = LN 2x16; Disposition 2 = To 2412H Daleboro.

3. Add data to Fields in the newly inserted record: Builder = Pullman; Lot # = 4386; Wayner Randall Lot Seq = 6; Name = Daleboro; Heritage = Rebuilt; Service Date = 5/18/32; Rebuilt or Converted from = 2412F Draper; Plan = 2412H; Type = S; Sheathing = Steel plates EL; Paint = Pull. Std.; Trucks = 1910A; Brakes = UC 2x16; Battery Boxes, Steps & AC = same as DRAPER; Disposition = Rebuilt; Disposition 2 = To 4042B Amherst College; Disposition or Sale Date = 10/27/37.

4. No changes are needed in the existing AMHERST COLLEGE record.

August 10, 2007, Update 5: Plan 2412H DALEVILLE, Record 2837, Field “Additional Disposition Information”, now reads “Extensively damaged in wreck #26 1945”. Change to “Extensively damaged in wreck of PRR #31 at Brookville OH 9/3/45”.

August 10, 2007, Update 4A: Plan 3981C CATALINA, Record 9951, Field “Disposition 2”, now reads “to UP/C&NW/SP”. Change to “To UP/C&NW”.

August 10, 2007, Update 4B: Plan 3981C MEADE, Record 9952, Field “Disposition 2”, now reads “to UP/C&NW/SP”. Change to “To UP/C&NW”.

August 10, 2007, Update 4C: Plan 3981B PHOENIX, Record 9955, Field “Disposition 2”, now reads “to UP/C&NW/SP”. Change to “To UP/C&NW”.

August 10, 2007, Update 4D: Plan 3981C RINCON, Record 9957, Field “Disposition 2”, now reads “to UP/C&NW/SP”. Change to “To UP/C&NW”.

August 10, 2007, Update 4E: Plan 3981C OAKLAND, Record 9966, Field “Disposition 2”, now reads “to UP/C&NW/SP”. Change to “To SP”.

August 10, 2007, Update 3A: Plan 3410A CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS, Record 8976, Field “Paint”, change date for MDD 4773 repaint so field reads “PRR Std., PRR Streamline colors (9/2/38); PRR Std. MDD4973 (3/4/49)”. The 1940 repaint date incorrectly associated with MDD4973 appears to have been a recoating in Fleet of Modernism (PRR Streamline) colors and not a paint scheme change.

August 10, 2007, Update 3B: Plan 4015C DOVER CASTLE, Record 8083, Field “Additional Disposition Information”, add text “RTP 3/19/58;” so field reads “RTP 3/19/58; Sold to Purdy Co. 3/31/59”. Also delete text “RTP 3/19/58” from the “Notes” field.

August 10, 2007, Update 3C: Make the same two changes for Plan 4015C DOVER HARBOR, Record 7478. In this case, the “Additional Disposition Information” field will read “RTP 4/7/58; Sold to Darby Wood Products 4/21/67”.

August 10, 2007, Update 3D: Plan 3410 KESWICK (IGNACIO ALLENDE), Record 7539, move all text in the “Notes” field into the “Additional Disposition Information” field.

August 10, 2007, Update 2: Two consecutive Plan 2412 cars are named Dellwood in the database - Records 1084 and 1085. This was an inadvertent “copy down” error. Change the Record 1085 car name to “Graytown”. This error did not carry over to the Car name file.

May 27, 2007, Update 1: Plan 4090 BELL TOWER, Record 8606, Field “Rebuilt or Converted from”, now reads “3585 Point Amelia”. Change to “3584 Point Amelia”.
