Led a group of three developers in building the data warehouse. Conducted daily status and weekly reporting meetings of the group and update the senior management on the progress on timely basis. Worked with the group of my developers to redesign the datawarehouse and datamart loading process using Informatica's powercenter 1.6. Streamlined the architecture of the loading process by better key management and loading conversion techniques.
Schedule and optimized ETL loading, store procedures using Argent. Designed a database reconciliation and comparison tool using store procedures and VB. Wrote Store procedures to custom defined some transformations. Understood the business needs of the fund-managing group and designed the specifications of the flat files needed for their research process. Developed an architecture and user-friendly application in SQL Server and VB Script, which extracted data from different source systems (Bloomberg, MCH of State Street), to these flat files using various formatting procedures. Interacted with users to understand their requirements, drafted the specification/templates.
Redesign the datamart hierarchy and model to improve performance in Microstrategy. Change the parameters of Microstrategy Intelligence server to improve query performance. Installed and configure a parallel intelligence server. Created complex reports in Microstrategy using summary tables. Devised the strategy for moving projects from development to productions. Ensure data integrity and reconciliation on front-ends and back-ends. Customizes and wrote codes in asp pages/XML/XSL in Microstrategy web according to user requirements.

Involved in full life cycle of projects from pre sales to knowledge transfer and training of support people at the client site. Coordinated meeting with and tasks among the client, the development group and third-party vendors. Manage scope of datawarehousing projects, oversee staffing requirements and confirm to deadlines for project deliverables. Used Oracle Warehouse builder to an ETL process to merge transactional data from two different systems to a unified centralized datawarehouse. Wrote PL/SQL to some post loading jobs. Implemented Powermart 4.7 for doing extraction and transformation of
data from mainframe to Oracle decision support system for a large B2B company in Chicago. Used Powermart/Powercenter in interface with Broadbase EMA for designing closed loop marketing solutions for a media/publishing company. Used Brio Reports (SQR) as reporting tool for a click-stream data-warehouse and generated customized reports both web using XML
and desktop. Did data modeling and architecture design for implementation of an e-marketing automation tool to improve marketing communication and overall improvement of customer relationship management for a
financial company based out of Boston. Developed the matrices for ETL, data cleansing, data audit and reporting tool evaluations. Installed and designed adapters in Broadbase 4.0. Used E-Link to connect Mainframe/Database servers to app servers in creating the marketplace on web. Improved the project management methodologies at DiaLogos by implementing Rational's RUP. Wrote system architecture and data architecture documents and uses cases as a part of MCEI project.

Worked with knowledge management group in designing the training materials for the support team. Worked with senior manager and partner of the group in preparing
sales presentations to clients. Designed architecture for datamarts for financial and industrial companies. Devised data loading strategy and designed mappings in Informatica's Powermart for data extraction and load from legacy system (GEAC) and PeopleSoft on Oracle to datamart. Worked with development team to resolved data and validation issues. Designed reports in Microstrategy's DSS suggesting the seasonal work force pattern, employee turnovers, and employee productivity with respect to various parameters in HR project which were previously
done in SAS. Was a part of a team in replacing Cognos to Micorstrategy 5.x as the ROLAP tool. Used Brio Intelligence as a query and analysis tool for Online
Analytical Transaction Processing (OLAP) for a consumer goods company. Did the data modeling to design the warehouse suited to the client requirements. Wrote PL/SQL Scripts as a part of data loading and conversion
process. Involved in designing performance enhancement, back-up and data recovery strategies. Worked for support and enhancements of PeopleSoft system at the client site and used SQR for reporting purposes. Designed the technical and functional architecture of an executive
compensation system and coded it in VB and did reporting in Crystal Reports.

Created and maintained a database on information about Sprint's cell sites around Dallas Metropolis and analyzed and made recommendation on the maintenance/support requirements for the sites to VP of client relations.
Prepared a business plan to offer technical services to clients that would cut cost by $500,00 for Nortel and submitted it to the executive committee. Created reports through generated models in SAS. Worked with the integration team to identify business and technical
issues related with integration of Bay Network's IP products with Nortel's wireless technology using TCP/IP protocols. Worked in wireless IP lab for "Mobile Office" project and successfully conducted alpha test.
