Using RoboHelp and Captivate, wrote Section 508-compliant WebHelp and tutorials for the 2002 Economic Census DVD ROM application.

Using FrameMaker, digital photography, Photoshop, and Acrobat, wrote service manuals for Off-Axis Digital Synchronous (XDS) family of near-infrared spectrophotometric analyzers used in chemical and pharmaceutical laboratory and process monitoring.

Using FrameMaker, Visio, and Acrobat, wrote engineering guide for LightRail 256, a bidirectional optical add/drop multiplexer (OADM) providing synchronous optical network/synchronous digital hierarchy (SONET/SDH) aggregation/transport in dense wavelength division multiplexed (DWDM) metropolitan optical networks (MONs).

Also wrote Microsoft HTML Help for Sheet Break Manager, a Windows-based video surveillance tool for determining the root cause of sheet breaks in paper mills. Supported translation of help from English to Traditional Chinese.

Using RoboHelp, OmniPage, and Acrobat, wrote WinHelp and Microsoft HTML Help reference systems for outsourcing of ManorCare, Penn National Insurance, Imation, First Securities, Unocal, and MetLife employee benefits, payroll, and human resources.

Using Word, Acrobat, and RoboHelp, wrote user guides, tax technical guides, and WinHelp for ProProsper, a suite of commercial Windows-based professional financial planning tools. Also wrote WinHelp for Book2Tax, a Windows-based general ledger application for internal projects. Book2Tax Help included multimedia demonstrations of complex tasks.

Using Interleaf, wrote installation guide for Enhanced Fax System Server Software, a public service or corporate store-and-forward Group III/IV fax system using either dedicated circuits or X.25 networks.

Using WordPerfect and Designer, wrote user guides, release bulletins, and technical proposal for the network management system (NMS) of Vaste Verbindingen Infra Structuur (VVIS), a plesiochronous digital hierarchy (PDH) network operated by the Netherlands Postal Telephone & Telegraph (PTT) Company.

Using RoboHelp, wrote WinHelp for Integrated Customer Information System (ICIS), a Windows-based client/server order entry application for Cable & Wireless' long-distance telephone/facsimile services. Also updated and reformatted WinHelp for SureCom Pro, a Windows-based client/server broadcast fax/e-mail service.

Using FrameMaker and ClearCase, wrote/edited system concept of operations (SCOPs) documents, software requirements specifications (SRSs), software design descriptions (SDDs), system administration guides, user guides, and alarm guides per IEEE standards for Multi-Service Platform (MSP), a Unix-based auto-provisioning service management application for Bell Atlantic's customer-interactive services.

Using Interleaf and AutoCAD, wrote maintenance procedures (MPs) and their corresponding procedure basis documents for General Electric BWR 3 plant equipment. Also wrote emergency plan implementing procedures (EPIPs), emergency plan operating procedures (EPOPs), and their corresponding procedure basis documents for three-unit station; and upgraded the Millstone Station Emergency Preparedness Plan accordingly.

Using Word, wrote U.S. Army new look operator's and maintenance manuals per MIL-M-63036C and MIL-M-63038C for Standardized Integrated Command Post Systems (SICPSs) used as battlefield nodes of the Army Tactical Command and Control System (ATCCS).

Using WordPerfect, wrote U.S. Navy intermediate operation and maintenance manuals per MIL-M-82376A for Basic Aircraft Fire Fighting Trainer Device 19F4 and Submarine Fire Fighting Trainer Device 21C12.

Wrote five-level electronic systems theory of operation documentation for U.S. Air Force intermediate technical orders per MIL-M-6675B for Radio Frequency Surveillance/Electronic Countermeasures System AN/ALQ-161A used on B-1B bomber aircraft.

Wrote design description for the microcontroller subsystem of a submarine automatic antenna-tuning unit for inclusion in technical proposal submittal to U.S. Navy. Also attended Astron bidder's conference at Naval Underwater Systems Command (NUSC) to provide engineering support.

Wrote NAVAIR work package format intermediate maintenance manuals per MIL-M-81927A and MIL-M-81928A for Stores Management Systems AN/AYQ-9(V) and AN/AYQ-15 used on F/A-18 and F-14D fighter aircraft, respectively.

As a technical writer (3/83 to 10/86), wrote U.S. Air Force depot technical orders per MIL-M-38789B and MIL-M-38784B for Electronic Warfare Training Set AN/MLQ-T4(V). Wrote MIL-STD-490 type C2b specifications for circuit card assemblies of Special Purpose Countermeasures Set AN/MLQ-34. Wrote NAVAIR work package format organizational principles of operation manuals (POMs) and testing and troubleshooting manuals (TTMs) per MIL-M-81927A and MIL-M-81928A for MH-53E minesweeping helicopter. Wrote operator's, trackside maintenance, and heavy overhaul maintenance manuals per ATA-100 for M-3/M-3a Commuter Electric Railcar. Additionally, developed training materials and conducted classroom instruction on operation and maintenance of the M-3/M-3a railcars.
