One of the first things I learned after joining a club was that miniatures do not have be in a dollhouse. They could be in whatever you want to try.

The name Small Packages reflects my love of this. My first unusual container was a laundry room in the ultra size detergent box. (Sorry no photos of it right now.) To name a few more of the unusual containers I have used: a book, gift bags, paper mache products (made and purchased), baskets, tins, juice carton and a clay pot. Although, I have a number of current projects, my favorite is 1/4". I am trying to only work in this scale. Like most miniaturists, I have many unfinished projects and many more ideas I'd like to do.
