"Little Women"
This is a picture of my rendering of Jo from the book Little Women. This single light, by Scott's Lighting is battery operated. The scene is housed in a book.
I made Jo's dress and the secretary from kits. I also made the fern. The wallpaper is from those wonderful sample books for real life.
Fairy Lipstick
This was created after seeing the "Love in my Pocket" that LadyBug produces.
I hope to one day take a better photo, so I can show the detail. For now my camera just can't get close enough. Even in my larger photo it is hard to tell that the fairy is hanging on the flowers not a flower themselves.
Dressing Room Hat Box
This dressing room in a "hat box" project idea was patterned after another artist but I started from scratch to create my verision. I used an octagon shape to create the "hatbox".
My club also made this from my patterns. I later taught this at Chattanooga's Fun Day.
Maple Syrup Sugaring Scene
This scene was made inside a one gallon maple syrup tin. When I first saw this tin, I knew I wanted to do a scene in it. My parents love maple syrup so it wasn't very long before they gave me one. After I cut it open, I hand painted the inside to reflect the outside. The third picture is the outside of the tin.
