During May thru September search out the Pelican
Art Work on display around the city on our Pelican Tour Trail. This
trail is 10K and uses city street sidewalks and parklands. (5K
available)
Start / Finish - Pelican Rapids Visitors Center
25 North Broadway
- Register and walk anytime 8am to 2pm.
- Finish walk by 5pm.
Trail - The route includes
hilly grass trails, paved and gravel roads and trails. Rated a 1 by the AVA. Strollers and
wheelchairs are usable. Views from the trail include Pelican Pete,
Historic buildings, and the unique Pelican Rapids Pelican Artwork so bring your camera.
During October enjoy the Minnesota fall colors while walking our OktoberFest 10K trail. This trail passes through open country and
woodlands with views of lakes and wetlands with only a short portion of
the 10K along a road. (5K route available for Seniors)

- Register and walk anytime 8am to 2pm.
- Finish walk by 5pm.
Trail - The route includes hilly grass trails,
some paved and gravel roads. Rated a 2 by the AVA. Strollers and
wheelchairs are not recommended. Views from the trail include Lake Lida,
forest, prairie and great fall colors. Deer, eagles and other wildlife
abound so bring your camera.
Participation - Anyone may participate. There are
no age restrictions. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by
an adult. Pets must be leashed and cleaned up after.
This is a great fall activity for the family. The
family walks together accommodating progress to the abilities of the
various members. Non walking and small children should be carried
backpack or papoose style.

DIRECTIONS:
The Pelican Rapids Visitors Center is located in the Historic
and restored firehouse at 25 north Broadway.
Lida Greens is located four miles east
of US 59 in Pelican Rapids, MN at
22950 State Hwy 108.
