Enjoy the Minnesota fall colors while walking our
OktoberFest 10K trail. This trail passes through open country and
woodlands with views of lakes and wetlands with only a short portion of
the 10K along a road. (5K route available for Seniors)
Start / Finish - Lida Greens GC
Saturday , October 10th and Sunday October
11th, 2009
- Register
and begin your walk anytime 8am to 2pm.
- Finish walk by 5pm.
Trail - The route includes hilly grass trails,
some paved and gravel roads. Rated a 2 by the AVA. Strollers and
wheelchairs are not recommended. Views from the trail include Lake Lida,
forest, prairie and great fall colors. Deer, eagles and other wildlife
abound so bring your camera.
Participation - Anyone may participate. There are
no age restrictions. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by
an adult. Pets must be leashed and cleaned up after.
This is a great fall activity for the family. The
family walks together accommodating progress to the abilities of the
various members. Non walking and small children should be carried
backpack or papoose style.

Conditions - This event will be held regardless
of weather conditions and no refunds will be given. The sponsors are not
liable for accidents, thefts and/or material damage. Every effort will
