MOLUM COMBAT HONOR SOCIETY BY LAWS:

Principles: The Molum Combat Arts Honor Society was developed to recognize the contributions of students and instructors of the Molum Systems based on Loyalty, Integrity, Charity, Setting the Example, Leadership, and the will to continue in adverse situations. The Instructors and Students are considered to be the Closest Students to the Masters and Disciples of the Martial Arts (Note: this is not a Religious Affiliation), and true followers of the Martial Way of Honor.

Discipleship: JAP SUK DAI JI: Master's Closest Student.

Discipleship is not a Rank it is an honor bestowed upon the receipiant for Loyalty, Honor and Integrity.

Honorary Membership: Honorary members maybe nominated by any member of the Honor Society. A panel of members will vote on those nominated, and Approve their membership. Honorary Members maybe nominated for the following:

Supporter of the Molum Pai Systems for their Activities or Events.
Supports, Mentors members of the Molum Combat Arts members at Martial Arts Tournaments and other Martial Art Events
Demonstrates Charity, Random acts of kindness, or an act that should be recognized by all.
Renders assists to any MLCA member in time of need
Demonstrates Sound Judgement in adverse situations
Note: Honorary members may nominate others for this honor, but the nominee does not have to be a Martial Artist.

New 2005 project: Certificate of Recognition

In August 2005, Sifu Tim White implemented a new program for the Honor Society. This program was the Certificate of Recognition Program. This recognition may be recommended by any member of the Honor Society. The person being recommnended for this award can be anyone who should be recognized for their dedication to serving their community in some great manner. The nominee may be eligible for the Honorary Membership, but may not have been nominated or voted on. The receipiant of this award will receive a Certificate from the Honor Society, but will not be issued a patch. The patch is strickly for Members and Honorary Members of the Society.

DEDICATION: I would like to take a moment to make a special dedication to Sigung Phil Wade of the Pai Lum Kung Fu System and the Chief Instructor of the Fire Dragons School in Kokomo, Indiana who passed away 6/28/05. He will be greatly missed. He will be added to the names of the Honor Society for his great works in the Martial Arts. In Early January 2006, Mr. Jon Bridges lost his life in a car accident in the UK. Mr. Bridges re-designed the MLCAA logo that appears on that webpage. We would like to honor him by the Director's special appointment to the MLCA Honor Society for his time, his talent and for those who truely called him friend.

Special Note: Those that were just elected in the Honor Society will be issued Patches and Certifcates after the 1st of the year. I want to thank the Master Board and Representatives for not delaying the process. In Fact, all of you votes were in 20 days in advance.
