The Hounds of Winter
by Spinner
A story in 18 parts plus an epilogue. Most of it is fairly PG-13, except for parts where there are embedded warnings.
Summary: Takes place around Part 34 of Blind as a Bat, during the month of November. Told from Snape’s point of view as he is caring for Harry, trying to cure him after the attack on Halloween Night. We see a much softer side of Severus, which could be because the story is from his point of view and no one sees themselves as a villain. Or perhaps it’s because Harry keeps zapping him with a very strong charisma spell, and Snape is starting to exhibit feelings. Worse than that, he is quite appalled to find he’s starting to care about The Boy.
Warning: Hounds of Winter contains slash/slashy scenes, vampirism, foreign words and phrases, weird furniture spells, brief discussion of sexual attack, a confession of murder, and various random acts of violence and humor. If this makes you at all squeamish, this is probably not the story for you.
