Who We Are

A CARING COMMUNITY

The strength of Windham Hill U.C.C. is in its people. The congregation is a diverse group which gathers from all parts of Windham and surrounding towns to share worship and outreach. We are a people who value the importance of taking time to know and care about each other. We are each on an individual journey to serve God, yet we are always there to share each other's joys and lend support in times of need.

TRADITIONAL YET OPEN TO THE FUTURE

Our church, being the founding church of Windham, has a long and interesting history. Celebrating worship in this church gives one a feeling of being part of something that has been meaningful to his community for many years. It provides a wonderful atmosphere in which to enjoy the traditional celebrations of the Church year such as the Creche presentation through Advent, Christmas Eve Candlelight Service, Maundy Thursday Service, Easter Sunrise Service, Easter, and Pentecost Sunday.

YOUNG AND OLD TOGETHER

Another important aspect of the Windham Hill Church is the intermingling of young and old. Our children are present for the first part of worship and participate in a children's story or share in special seasonal activities. Our older children are encouraged to serve as acolytes and take part in many other programs and activities. They serve on church committees and boards. We strive to make our church a meaningful part of our children's loves.
