Elaine before she retired was a Drapery Maker
who first started with JC Penny's
in their custom drapery shop. Then the
last 10 Years she worked for Thorpe Drapery
where you could give her a Bolt of Fabic and
the measurements and she would do the
rest. She has made drapes for the Street
of Dreams homes in Portland. One of
the people she made drapes for was the former
coach of the Portland Trailblazers
Micheal Dunleavy.

As for me I worked in Broadcasting
for close to thirty years. The last seventeen as a Broadcast Engineer
for Oregon
Public Broadcasting. I started out as a Announcer for commercial
stations in Oregon. I worked
In Eugene at KZEL, KORE, in
Klamath Falls I worked for K-LAD when it was Country AM 960. I
worked in Sweet Home at KFIR
1370 when it was Country. I met my wife Elaine in Sweet Home.
After getting my FCC First Commercial
License (Now a General) I went to work for OPB both TV and FM.
