5 CTC5 is interesting because, curiously, the audio amplifier is dc coupled . Nearly everything else about the audio section was the same as a CTC4. It used contact bias on the voltage amplifier, the multi-function 6T8 saved a 6AL5 dual-diode used in the CT-100, and the 6AQ5 single-ended audio power output stage provided about 3-watts of audio power and didn't change till years later.
