FOREWORD
HOW TO USE THIS BOOK

 1. The easiest way to display my genealogy files is with an online book. The most difficult part is index ing all the names. I am allready up to over 9Mbytes of disk space for this site.



2. Turning the pages.
     It is much easier to get around in an online book then one printed on paper.
     Most  of my pages have some of these buttons on the botom of the page.

        BACK takes you back to the previous page.
        NEXT
will take you to the next page.

        CONTENTS will take to the table of contents.
        INDEX  will take you to the index of individuals listed in the book.
        HOME will take you to The Coopers of New Pitsligo home page.
    The buttons that are outlined are active links, there is no link in the next button here.
    If you click on one of the buttons it will take you to that page, to get back here use
   


3. How to find someone.
    Lets look for Walter Fish.
    1. Click on INDEX. This brings up the INDEX page where you will see this table:
Click on first letter of Surname
 A  B  C  D  E  F  G  H  I  J  K  L  M  N  O  P  Q  R  S  T  U  V  W X Y Z
    2. If you click on the F . This will take you to the F table

 Fair thru Fincham  Fish  Flippo thru Fryer
    3. Clicking on Fish will take you to the Fish table that lists all the Fish.
    4. Look for Walter, click on his name and it will take you to the first mention of Walter Fish.


4. How to use the links.
    Linking to previous generation. The names in parenthsis show the paternal ancestors in
    ascending order. The supercript indicates the generation, Loran's father James is the next
    higher generation in this example and contains the link to James.
