Blackhawk -
Iron City Stamp Mill Several unidentified men stand
outside the Iron City Stamp Mill in Blackhawk, a mining town in Gilpin County,
Colorado. The tracks of the Gilpin Tramway, which was used to haul ore from
nearby mines to the depot in Blackhawk, cross the foreground. Two teams of
horses pull a wagon in the left midground. Another team of horses stands with a
buggy in front of the wagon teams. A railroad car with the number "UP 8188 SL&C"
is at the entrance of the three-tiered, stone mill. Two unidentified men stick
their heads out from two windows in the upper level. Additional wagons are being
pulled by horses on a road in the side of a hill in the right background. Date
