We will be using these UOP Shard Rules for now. So use these as your guide. All of these rules will take effect as of September 26, 2004 .

House Rules

1. One house per character only. UOP Staff have the right to nuke or remove a house if a player have more than one house per character

2. House cant be placed inside any town ( guarded or not guarded).

3. House Killing Info

a.Witch Doctors can be house killed by any means

b. House Killing is ok but you cannot house kill nyone living at Ocllo

Note:. If you House Kill anyone at ocllo you will pay 2m GP and we will remove 3 of your precious skills.

4.House cant be placed along the roads, inside any caves, and some boundaries placed by the UOP Staff.

5. NO Base enclosure.

7. Killing of pets inside a House is LEGAL.

8. In placing your house, please DO NOT HIT CANCEL!

Town Rules:

1. Use of Provocation Skill on players inside town is ILLEGAL.

2. Use of Explosion Potions inside town is ILLEGAL.

3 NO KILLING OF NPC's (Non-Player Characters) in towns. This holds true for both Guarded and Unguarded towns only.

4. No casting of earthquake, mass curse inside the town.

5. No macroing at Cove, Vesper and Britain.

MarketPlace/Newbie Dungeon/Macro Place 1. No stealing 2. No Pking 3. No Looting Vendors

1. Attacking vendors for skill gain is NOT ALLOWED. Anyone caught attacking vendors will be jailed or pay 500k

2. Vendors Pricing : Check Marketplace and Yew Blackmarket for pricing

3. Do not sell any newbified items in your Player Vendor.

4. UOP Staff will not replace any items that are missing in your vendor.

5. Do not sell tattered Map in your vendor. If you want to sell it then put it on the pouch or any bag.

6. UOP Staff will not replace missing gold in your vendor.

7. UOP Staff have the right to remove your vendor if you are just killing the UOI economy. Price your goods according to current UOI Economy.

PVP Arena : Duel

1. No looting

2. No summoning spell/scroll/wands

3. No paralyze and paralyze field spell/scroll/wands

4. No explosion potions/scroll/wands

5. No runes

6. No pets of any kind.

Missing Items, Missing Rides 1.Unless the loss of the item was the fault of staff , staff will not replace any items

2.Rollbacks occasionally occur when the server crashes and is restarted with the last viable world save data. Items lost as a result of this will not be replaced.

3. Do not place your pets in the bank. We will never replace any rides if you lost it... Not unless our UOI Staff accidentally kill your pet.

4. No replacement of missing items in the vendors.

5. If you are placing your house and you hit cancel and you lost your deed then UOI Admin still needs to check the logs before we can return the house to you. If you are caught lying and you are not really missing a house then we will charge you 1m .

Magery

1. No spell spamming.

2. When we say no summoning, no fields and other spells in our rules here then that will also pertains to the use of scrolls, wands and potions.

Bugs/Programs

1. No speedhack

2. No hacking programs like Injection and Teot

3. No other client other than 2.0.3

4. Do not remove encryption from your client or your ip will be banned and your account will be automatically deleted.

5. The only programs allowed are UO Autopilot, UO Loop , UO Assist and UO Auto Map.

6. If you find any bugs or exploits then you have to send this information to the GM within 24 hours. Continous use of these exploits will lead to a deletion of your GM skills or even your whole account. Best way to send these bug reports are by emailing joyce@chatpinoy.org.

PETS

1. Do not rename your bears and drakes as UOI Bears and UOI Drakes.

2. Do not rename your pet with any offensive word/s

3. You can only have the maximum of live 15 pets walking in your house if you are macroing of Taming. Other than that then You only have the maximum of 2 live pets walking inside the house and you have to shrink the rest of your pets.

4. Do not hoard pets other than the rideable pets. If you dont need those pets then leave them alone to where they are. Your pets are adding to the number of NPC in the shard and can cause lag to the server.If you are trying to make money in cow-milking then its ok for you to get some cows but if you are just hoarding them and not even using them then UOI Staff have the right to remove them.

Guild/Guild Alignments

1. You need to have at least 5 players to create a guild. You can purchase the Guildstone on the provisioner and you can page a GM to place it for you.

2. You cannot hoard any Chaos and Order Shield from the Chaos and Order Guards. You are only allowed to have one shield per player. If you die and your shield decay then you can get another shield. But if we check your bank, house and we see additional shield there then you will pay 500k per shield that you hoard. DO NOT PUT THE SHIELD IN THE BANK

Anyone wearing or equipping the wrong shield will die.

Etiquette

1. No harassment and discrimination on any form

2. No cursing or swearing or any offensive language.

3. Never attack any UOP Staff.

4. Never impersonate any UOP Staff.

5. Do not invite our players to another shard or game.

6. No text flooding or spamming.

GM and Player Relationship

1. NEVER EVER ask impertinent questions or requests from the GM's. You will be automatically jailed. Impertinent questions such as can I "please have an armor set, please resurrect me, or even GM can you please fix my stats?" Also, do not 'party' a GM or any staff, do not ask for GM favors of any sort. You shall be dealt with accordingly.

2. Do NOT ask or request a specific GM. Only Available GMs will be able to assist you. Please respect all GMs accordingly.

3. DO NOT 'page' a GM repeatedly. Your 'page' will be answered as soon as possible. Give information as to the reason for the page. Pages such as "GM come", "GM Send me to .." will be ignored. Repetition of the said act shall be punishable by jail time.

4. Don't page a GM if you are stuck.If you are stuck then you need to type .imstuck . If you got stucked and die then UOI Staff is not liable for your items.

5. Do not page a GM to swap your skill with another skill.

6. Do not accuse the GM of peeking on you. UOI Staff are instructed to provide a fair treatment to all players or they will be removed . If you feel that a UOI Staff is providing you an unfair treatment then please email it to joyce@chatpinoy.org.

7. Never tell any UOP Staff to add you in the UOP Staff. If you want to apply as a UOI Staff then you can email joyce@chatpinoy.org directly.

Account

1. Starting January 17, 2007, Account that have no activity within 30 days and without notifying the ADMIN@UOPHILIPPINES.COM of your abscense then the account will be deleted. If you wish to notify account@chatpinoy.org about your abscense then please include your username and the reason or your abscence and dont forget to put this on your subject " UOI Account Maintenance". Please also put a tentative date on the time you can come back to play. You can only be excused for a period of 3 months and if you are still absent for that 3 months then UOI have the right to delete your account. UOI Will not bring back your skills anymore or items if you wish to come back in another time.

2. If you want your password to be changed then you have to email account@chatpinoy.org. Make sure to put your username and your new pass and your old pass. Do not page a GM to change your password. Changing of passwords require a server reboot so expect the changing of your password to happen on the next server reboot after you email.

3. Each player can only have a maximum of 2 accounts.

4. UOP Admin have all the right to delete your account for any REASON.

5. UOP Admin have all the right to login any player's account to inspect their characters for game security purposes.

General Rules:

1. No rule on blocking.

2. No offensive character name.

3. No summoning in the water/sea

4. Player stats shouldnt go over the sum of 320

5. Hotels and cabins are considered house

6. UOP Staff will not newbify any items except for keyring, keys and spellbook and the lockpick sets for the first gm lockpicking.

7. UOP Staff have the right to confiscate items that a player shouldn't have. Items like unlock shard displays and other tweak items.

8. UOP Staff have all the right to reject a player from joining an event.

9. Provocation, Mass Curse and Earthquake are prohibited in all PVM ( Player VS Monster) Events.

10. UOP Staff have the right to create any rules on their EVENTS.

11. Skill Cap is set to 1200. Any skills over 1200 will be removed by any UOI Staff without telling the player. The player should be responsible in knowing the max skill cap. Skill cap can be changed by UOI Admin.

12. Ignorance of the rules is not an excuse. All players should know all the shard rules. It is their responsibility to know it.

13. UOP Staff have the right to redesign the shard environment without notifying the players.

14. UOP Forum at http://forum.uophilippines.com will be the main medium of communication for all changes in the shard. UOI Staff doesnt have to post all the changes in the shard.

15. UOP Staff doesnt really know the age of all players at UOI. UOI Management will never be responsible for any child abuse or molestation in the actual game. If you think you are being harassed then you can page a GM to report it.

16. This shard will not protect any newly created character ( Newbies) simply because not all newbies are really Newbies. We usually know who are the real newbies and most of the time we ask the assistance of players to help them.

17. Do not play with the travel stone.

18. UOP Staff have the right to immediately remove any NPC if it is causing some server errors

19. Players cannot use any Sweet Heart's Weapons at Newbie Dungeon, Brit Sewers, Ice Dungeon and Fire Dungeon. You will pay 1m if you use it there.

20. No Voodoo Casting at UOP Marketplace. Do not summon the players to any place if they are in the marketplace. Witch Doctor is responsible to know that the person he/she is summoning is not in the Marketplace.

Penalty

We rather charge the player than to jail them but the jail options still exist.

Players behave more if the charges are huge. UOI Staff will be charging any offenders from 300k up to 1 million gp. If you are unable to produce that amount then UOI Staff will remove 2 of your precious rare items. If you dont have any previous items then you will be jailed . UOI Staff will decide the number of hours or days you will be jailed. Repeat offenders will be banned from the game or we will remove at least 4 of your GM skills.

PKING, STEALING, LOOTING

They are legal.But please respect the time, places and events that we require you not to do it. Minimum gold penalty is 500k and 100k of that will go to your victim. If you dont have 500k then we will get 2 of your precious items.

No Log Out Zone

Cove, Vesper and Britain and ALL DUNGEONS and EVENT locations are no log out zone. We dont have to put the sign anymore because this is already in our Rule.

Providing a screenshot of any UOP crimes will help us punish the offender because not all of the time the GM can see all the activities of the players.
