Marie had some concerns about the project, read her letter, but as she wrote "...the finished product came out absolutely beautiful. Not a bad job for a 78-year old to accomplish!"
The pattern had 140 by 111 stitches.

March 13, 2006 Dear "H & P", Last fall I requested a pattern to cross stitch a portrait of my grandson. I was surprised to receive a 4-page pattern, overwhelmed at 107 different colors , and a bit dismayed to stitch blonde curls in several shades of green. However the finished product came out absolutely beautiful. Not a bad job for a 78-year old to accomplish! Thank you so much for helping me create a memorable gift for my daughter's birthday.
