A description of PI Objects II, found here

An advanced class for making vector-based objects. For intermediate and advanced users. Must be knowledgeable of all of PI's tools and their functions and able to edit path nodes on your own, as this is not covered. Most of the lessons concentrate on the painting and shading of path objects for a 3D look. Students should have the ability to work independently from the written lessons as some of the lessons call for making objects entirely on your own.

Prerequisites: Intro to PhotoImpact or equivalent.

If you don't have your own website, you may utilize the LVS Free Student Hosting or the student upload area. Details will be found in the classroom. Liked_best_about_class: After getting us to learn and demonstrate basic
techniques in the first few lessons, we were asked to create digital objects of
what appeared to be unbelievable complexity. I knew I couldn't do it -- but with
a little help, I did, and found myself thinking up variations to make some of
the artwork my own. The later assignments came with some hints but were even a
little more open-ended -- I'm glas to have completed the course, but in a away I
wish I had more time to play with some of these assignments.
Improvement_suggestions: Only thing I can think of is an additional course --
whch you've just offered! Maybe a list of challenge objects to try to create?

Liked_best_about_class: The opportunity to create more
complicated objects than in the earlier class, again with
step-by-step instructions. The detailed instructions were (quite
properly) tapering off during this class -- it isn't supposed to
be a series of tutorials, but rather a guided transition into
doing this sort of thing completely on our own.Well done! Great
class! You've given us a good start at this point, but I need a
lot more work to get to where I want to be.
Improvement_suggestions: I still need more experience in
doing things for myself. The transition to this didn't seem to
start early enough (seemed to start seriously in week 5) -- but
if it had, I would've missed some more pointers!
