WOW quilt squareI've never been a really "sappy" person, one of those given to excessive sentamentality; however, as I look at my membership so far in the Women of Worldnet, I have definite strong feelings. I joined the group somewhere near June, 1997. Over the last 2 and a half years, I have forged some special relationships with WOW members. I have a few "buddettes" I consider lifelong friends.
I started out in the group as a web neophyte. I knew nothing about web pages. With the encouragement of the group and the help of more knowledgeable members, I have slowly expanded my love for and talent in designing for the web.
I have great love for these women. They are indeed sisters in spirit. If any fellow member has a crisis or a joy, she can share the moment with all her WOW cohorts. They will all laugh with her, cry with her, pray with her, or simply lend a helping hand. Life these days can be isolated, disjointed, sometimes lonely, but those of us who are Women of Worldnet know that we can always reach out and touch one another and turn a lonely moment in to a burst of joy. We are all pilgrims on a journey together. WOW!
