Checkride passed! Five hours of grueling, approach-shooting,
steep-turn-doing, profile-flying hell.
I write this on my way back to Las Vegas (first class baby!) where I
will probably spend the next week or so waiting to be scheduled for IOE. I am hoping to do my IOE in Chicago since
that is where I’ll be based but that is unfortunately left up to the hands of
training scheduling. We shall see.
I realize this is all
sounding very familiar along the lines of my reports from COEX. As my friend Mike says, I’ve now been fully
qualified in two different regional jets over a combined four months of
training and still do not have one hour of jet time in my logbook. That will change very soon barring some
unforeseen catastrophe (knock on wood).
I’m excited to being
flying. Next report will be all about
it.
