January 24, 2001 – Captain!

I passed my checkride today! It was a 2.3-hour ride with approaches and landings at Scappoose, Hillsboro, and McMinnville. Everything went very smoothly and there were no real problems.

Finally, I am officially an employee of Ameriflight with the position of captain. My IOE begins tomorrow with AMF414, a route that runs from Portland to Redmond to Burns in the morning, then returns in the afternoon.
