The photos cover the lost communities and farms that now make up
Oak Ridge, K-25, Y-12, X-10 and the newest Spallation Neutron Source.
The photographs, taken by Army Corps of Engineers, cover the homeplaces
and buildings removed in 1942-43 for the Manhattan Project.
The originals are now held by the National Archives and Records
Administration in Atlanta and have never before been distributed in this
format for the interest of historians and the interested public.
