Family & Fiats |
Just a regular guy who loves to tinker with cars. Friends call me Pete. Educated in solar & design engineering, business administration and hard knocks, have a job as a financial analyst - go figure. The loving family is a Brazilian wife, 2 children and "at least one Fiat at all times". |

So why restore and drive Fiats vs. say, a 'regular' car ? If you've ever owned or driven a rear wheel drive, twin cam, high-revving, 5-speed, 4 disc brake, nimble sports car, read no further - you understand. The Fiat 124 is truly a classic in styling, performance and innovation. |

Why Fiat ? |

The next best pleasure to driving a well-tuned Fiat is being a father to my daughter, Alexandra & two sons, Kevin and Jason. Jason is an adult now and well on his way to changing the world. This little girl is going to break some hearts. |

Got back into dodging pylons and squealing tires about 1980 with early Datsun 510's. After selling off the last '69 510 in 1984, bought my first Fiat, a '72 124 Sport Coupe from bro' Ed. Have been hooked on Fiats ever since. Moved on to Solo One racing with that sport coupe in 1986. After that, it's been all about raising a family, working, paying the mortgage and restoring a Fiat or two along the way. |
And finally... |
Born same year Disneyland opened, just 15 minutes before my twin brother, Ed. We grew up in southern California during the 60's taking apart and making 'better' bicycles, go-carts, a Vespa, then finally cars. First car was a 1960 NSU Sport Prinz, a 2 cylinder, air cooled 40 hp toy. Top speed about 100 Kmh. Ed's first was a '57 Chevy Bel Air. The old man took the keys away after caught doing wheelies down at San Dimas Park. |

Born in '55 |
During the high school years, we were up at the crack of dawn to go to slaloms and ralleys with the old man, USMC master gunnery sergeant Craig Angel. We came to change tires, smell burning rubber, and pick up pylons. That's when were weren't hopping fences at the Winternationals to see Tom 'The Mongoose' McKewen & Don 'The Snake' Prudohmme. Moved on to the USAF in '73, another story... |
