Then, in the summer of 1953, I had the greatest adventure of all. In Mexico, working for the American Friends'
Service Committee, I met my husband, Stewart Pollock.
GROWN UP By the time I graduated from Mount Holyoke College, I had
already been married for a year. I'd also started writing poetry. Later, I earned two more degrees, one in education and one in
illustrating children's books. I became an author and an artist!
Our four children, Wendy, Stew, Jeff, and Jenny arrived. They grew up and had kids, too. So now our family looks like this:

I am probably the luckiest person you will ever meet. I spend summers on Lake Owasco, New York. Our regular
home is in Brookside, New Jersey. And we have a house near Sarasota, Florida.

Wherever we live, I paint and write. Most often I just day dream. I hope you do, too.
