FINNEY, William Gibson s/o William Guthrie Finney and Margaret Carnahan. He was b. July 11, 1835 in Harrison Co., Ohio and d. July 29, 1921 in Belmont County, Oh. He married in Harrison County, Ohio on October 8, 1857 Pamalia Rogers b. Jan 29, 1838 d. Jan 3, 1923, d/o Joseph and Mary (Burkette) Rogers.

There was no record in the old Family Bible of the wedding date of William and Pamalia Finney, so it was necessary for me to write to the Harrison County Court House in Cadiz, Ohio, for that information. I am now in possession of a copy of their wedding certificate. The birth dates of all their children were taken from the Family Bible.
