Hi Folks:

So it has been twenty five years since I came to Pune. It has been a long journey...after graduating, I was in Delhi for a little while and then left for Bahrain, and then to UK for MRCP. From there I moved to Hamilton in New Zealand (after a very brief stay in USA), and finally to Australia.

I moved here in July 2001. I have settled reasonably well in my new job combining teaching and "directing". Rekha has also secured the Australian fellowship in family medicine and joined a group practice . We live at about 90 mins driving distance from Melbourne international airport and so if anyone is passing through , please let us know and we would be glad to meet you. Shepparton's weather resembles that of Delhi.

I am married to Rekha, a grad of SMS Jaipur, she does family medicine. We have two children Namit, 13, who is well into high school, and Shruti, who is 8.

Australia is quite a nice country - in fact so good that had I known the details earlier I would have come directly here in 1982 ! Unfortunately , very few AFMC ites are here - the nearest one is a N batcher about 2500 km away !
