Intervie With the Tarek and Evan By Alex Chassin
What are your duties as Vice President? Evan: I have to help plan activities, make sure people are involved, and do portfolios each week.
Tarek: I do portfolios, morning meeting announcements, trips, fund-raising, and a fall fair booth.
Do you think online trading marks the downfall of the stock market, as we know it? Evan: No, I think it provides an easier, cheaper way to trade stocks.
Tarek: Investors aren’t getting the same stock advise from an online broker as they would if they trade with a broker. Do you feel that the market is due for a correction? Evan: Eventually, over time the market will balance out but I see no sudden crashes.
Tarek: I do not currently see a correction. It’s hard to say because the stock market is very unpredictable.
What is the best thing about being an officer in the Investment Club? Evan: Knowing that I am able to provide knowledge to students about the stock market
Tarek: I am interested in investing and I help others learn a lot about the stock market.
Is the Investment Club the best club EVER? Evan: I believe so; no club is as important, informative or fun!
