Elisabeth Vismans-Bout

As a teenager Elisabeth won a prestigious scholarship in drawing but didn't take serious art lessons until she came to the US in the summer of 2000.
She is greatly inspired by the impressionists and the old Dutch masters. Her favorite medium is oil paint with the occasional watercolor and pastel.
She won multiple awards and has paintings in local juried shows, the State House and galleries. She currently studies with M. Brockman, M. Pfister, Frederick and attends model drawing sessions.
