Sailing on Strangford Lough.

One of the rare times when I was perfectly happy to be living completely in the present - sailing with my wife's uncle on Strangford Lough, Northern Ireland, 1993.

I am an archeologist, geographer, researcher, and writer, but mostly I am an explorer. In my more than half century of explorations I have come to enjoy and appreciate a great many things. This webpage is a place to collect some of those things that interest me. It is a place to leave fragments behind for others to consider and perhaps to also find of interest.

As you can see by the table of contents below, this is not a small undertaking. I expect this project to go on for several months before it becomes a final product. So you will find many parts of it under construction for a while to come.

But please come back and re-visit the site, because I will be adding new sections from time to time until it is done. If you like some part of it or are made curious by something you see here, please feel free to e-mail me.
