This Art Show Review is particularly good for artists & fine craftsmen looking for the best in TEXAS ART SHOWS published since 1990 SECTION 1 is a complete database on each show, including dates, type of show, name, address, phone, due dates, show ratings based on expected money to be made, and up to date comments on a shows past performance and possible current problems. This show list is great for artists and fine craftsmen as these are the best in available Texas shows. Show ratings are based on expected money to be earned. If you have a professionally created product and booth and the show is good, the people show up, the promoter advertises, the economy is OK, the weather is fine, you should do at least 10 times your booth entry fee or the promoter just has not done their job. I use a rating of 5 to 20 times the booth fee. SECTION 2 is a printed, 13 page, 13 month calendar bound in book form with the most important item listed - SHOW FEE DUE DATES. This really helps organize the sending in of show applications. It is also a good visual reminder. How many times have you missed a big show and possibly lost thousands, because you forgot to send in the application in time?
