John is a graduate of Paw Paw High School and attended MSU. John is the chairman of John H. Tapper Inc. John is a member of the Kiwanis Club, Knights of Columbus, St Mary Church,and the County Courthouse Restoration Committee. He's been a director of the Michigan Auto Dealers Association for 40 years.John is the Current recipient of Welch-Lackey Leadership Award.Waverly Township Supervisor 1952-1962. Van Buren County Board of Commissioners 1969-1973 and 1992-Present.
